Colorado Sales & Use Tax
The state of Colorado levies a 2.9% state sales tax rate on retail sales. Most counties and cities charge their own sales taxes in addition to the state rate, ranging from 2.9% to 8.0%.
Use tax (same rate) is due on all purchases brought into the state of Colorado. Returns are to be filed on or before the 20th day of the month following the month in which the purchases were made.

Statute for Refunds: 36 Months
Utility Exemption: Yes, apportionment; Study is not required.
