Tennessee Lowers its Economic Nexus Threshold

Last Updated on August 18, 2022

Tennessee may have not been on your economic nexus radar in the past with thresholds of over $500,000 to necessitate collecting and remitting sales tax, but that is about to change. Beginning October 1, 2020, the threshold for out-of-state businesses and marketplace facilitators will be lowered to $100,000 in annual sales. Tennessee’s economic nexus law has only been active since July 1, 2019. For more information or help with economic nexuscontact us today!
